AAA Cooper


The AAA Cooper module supports LTL shipments to the United States (lower 48 states). StarShip supports rating, tracking, electronic pickup requests, and proof of delivery for AAA Cooper. StarShip also prints the BOL, package, and pallet labels.


Web Services

In order to set up the carrier and use web services, you must first log in to the AAA Cooper website and register for a unique Token ID. This Token ID is used to authenticate your account with AAA Cooper when performing rating, tracking, pickup requests, etc. from StarShip.

  1. Go the the AAA Cooper Transportation website at and log in to your account.
  2. Click "Workspace" in the menu bar.

  3. Under Admin Tools, click Web Services.

  4. Check the web services boxes for the web services you wish to integrate to StarShip.
  5. Click the Web Service Request button. This will generate a Security Token ID for StarShip to use when transmitting shipment information to AAA Cooper. The Security Token ID will be sent to the registered  email address. The Token ID is required when setting up your AAA Cooper account in StarShip, as shown below.




AAA Cooper setup is accessible from Setup > Carrier Interface > AAA Cooper. For instructions on adding a AAA Cooper account, see  Account Setup.





Main Tab

The Main tab consists of two general AAA Cooper settings that you can configure :


Carriers Tab

The Carriers tab will only show AAA Cooper as a supported carrier. Entries cannot be added or deleted.

Accounts tab

The AAA Cooper Interface must have at least one default account to be available for shipping. Accounts are set up per Location.


Account Setup


  1. On the Accounts tab, click Add.
  2. Enter your account information. Then, click OK.
  3. Account Name : Enter a unique name to identify this account in StarShip.
  4. Account ID : Enter the company's AAA Cooper account number.
  5. Token ID : Enter the unique Token ID you received when registering for web services on the AAA Cooper website.
  6. Company Name and Address fields : Type in your company name and address or select a Sender Address from the Address ID field to automatically populate the fields. The Sender zip code will be used for rating.
  1. Click OK.
  2. The account appears in the Accounts list.


Account Settings

This section allows you to change specific settings for the listed accounts. If you set up multiple accounts, you can maintain different settings for each account. To change settings for accounts, click on the account and then make your changes by selecting from the drop-down lists.



Additional Info

This tab displays the supported billing types and shipment options available for AAA Cooper.



End Of Day History

End Of Day History is available when you select an account and click the Edit button. This tab allows you to browse End Of Day History based on Posted Date or a date range, and Status. You can also reprint End Of Day documents for shipments.
