ABF Freight Shipping

The ABF Freight module allows you to rate and ship via the Internet, giving you live access to negotiated rates. In addition, you have the ability to track, request pickups and the PRO number from ABF, generate the BOL, and print package/pallet labels. ABF Freight supports destinations in the USA and Canada.

Shipping Notes

• Tracking : Shipments are tracked by PRO Number. Only posted shipments can be tracked using the Track button on the Tracking/Detail tab.
• Proof of Delivery : When the shipment's status is Delivered, you can click the button next to the PRO # on the Tracking/Detail tab to get the Proof of Delivery form in PDF format.
• Inbound Freight : StarShip supports auto-assignment of the PRO Number when the Auto-assign setting is enabled in account setup.
  
  

Shipping Option Notes

Email BOL

You can choose to have an email notification sent to the Sender, Recipient, or Other email address. StarShip will use the email address from the Sender and/or Recipient tab, or if you choose "Other", you can enter an email address in the field provided. The email provides a link to download the BOL, as well as an attached BOL in .PDF format. The email is sent when the shipment is assigned to a carrier.
