Enterprise TMS
Services
Enterprise TMS provides a method to rate multiple LTL carriers within
StarShip. Enterprise TMS is a full Transportation Management System
(TMS), supporting all carriers, including local, ZIP to ZIP, per pallet,
and more.
Features include :
- Multi-carrier LTL rating, tendering, and
tracking
- Enterprise TMS user interface allows you
to further manage inbound and TL shipments
- Access to LTL reporting for carrier
scorecards and freight cost per lane provides insight for future
rate negotiation
- Email notification provided by Enterprise
TMS*
* You must configure Enterprise TMS to automatically set tracking notifications
on all contacts and notification type must be "email."
Supported Accessorials
- Handling Fee
- Call Before Delivery : Choose this to have the
provider call the consignee before attempting to deliver. Some
providers may charge a small fee for this arrival notification service.
Note - If you will be mapping this field to a fixed value of 'Selected"
or to a source interface field, map the "Call Before Delivery"
field under Shipment Options in StarShip's Customize Interface. More info....
- COD : Payment will be collected by delivery
driver. Options include: company check, certified check or money
order or either.
- Email Notification :
Carrier notifies and schedules delivery date and time with the Sender,
Recipient, or both via e-mail . The e-mail provides a link to the
BOL when the shipment is assigned to a carrier.

- Limited Access Pickup/Delivery
To process a Enterprise TMS shipment, select the Enterprise TMS carrier
and service from the Shipment tab and check any accessorials you want
to use under Shipment Options. Then process the shipment as you normally
would.

Shipment Options Notes
Email Notification
When selected, the carrier notifies and schedules the delivery date
and time with the Sender, Recipient, or both via email . The email provides
a link to the BOL when the shipment is assigned to a carrier.
Note : In order to use Email Notification, you must configure Enterprise
TMS to automatically set tracking notifications on all contacts and notification
type must be "email".
