To verify the arrival of your package or shipment, UPS offers three types of optional delivery confirmation services, available for all UPS service levels:
No signature required: Automatic confirmation of delivery for any package you designate
Signature Required: Automatic confirmation with a printed copy of the recipient's digital signature
Adult Signature Required: Automatic confirmation with a printed copy of the adult recipient's digital signature. The adult must be at least 21 years of age.
To ship with Delivery Confirmation, enter your shipment information and then click on the Packaging tab.
Under Package Options, check the Delivery Confirmation check box.
Select a signature type from the drop-down list.
When you select a signature option for a residential address, you will also receive UPS Voice NotificationSM at no additional charge. Provide the recipient's telephone number, and UPS will automatically call the recipient to advise when the shipment will arrive and request that an appropriate person be present to sign for the delivery.
