SQL Interface Extension works in conjunction with your main ERP interface to offer extended field import and write-back capability. We give you the SQL Interface Builder to create and maintain one or more extended interfaces. This allows you to provide support for importing and updating additional database fields from and to your ERP or other databases. You can create Select statements that bring in additional line item or package information, for example. Select fields from the SQL Interface Builder are then used in StarShip Client Customize Interface to map the additional fields. Fields can also be defined to enhance write-back to the ERP interface.
You can launch the SQL Interface Builder from the StarShip Client Program menu.
SQL Interface Extension supports most ERP interfaces. Registration for the SQL Interface Extension appears under Financial System Interfaces in the StarShip Server Manager. If you don't see SQL Extension in your registration info, contact V-Technologies.
Users who are registered for multiple Extension interfaces can switch between them in the StarShip Client (if your main ERP interface supports it).
