StarShip can access Customer, Order, and Ship To user defined fields from Macola. In Customize Interface, you can map custom fields from the companies that use the current interface to StarShip fields. User fields that you can map to in StarShip appear on the Order tab (Order Field 1-5), Line Item tab (Item Field 1-5), Packaging tab (Pack Field 1-5), and Shipment tab (Shipment Field 1-5).
When shipping against Customers, only values from Customer User Defined fields are accessible. But, for shipments against Orders, all types of User Defined fields are accessible.
Note : Depending upon the version of Macola that you are using, the Macola field names may vary.
There are 11 custom fields associated with the Customer. You can populate these field names in A/R tab > Customers > Maintain by opening the customer record and selecting the Extra tab:
You can map these fields for the Orders and Customer document types in Customize Interface. The Macola Customer User Defined field names will appear in the Macola Source field list as Extra 1 - 11.
