Add a Company

StarShip allows you to import and ship with more than one set of company information. For each company, you can assign a specific interface that includes your customized field mapping and data translations. This procedure shows you how to select which Macola companies will be accessible from StarShip.

1. In the StarShip window, click Setup > Source Interface > your Macola interface.
   
   
   
   
    
   

2. Click My Companies.
   
   
   
   
    
   

3. Click Add Company.
   
   
   
   
    
   

4. Type in the Server Name and the Database for the company you want to connect to, and enter your authentication information. You may connect to the database using Windows Authentication, which is the same as your network login. If you are using SQL Server Authentication, enter your Username and Password. This is most likely not the same as your network login. Click Next.
   
   
   
    
   
   

5. The company now appears in the company list.
   
   
   
   
    
   
   

6. Repeat this procedure for each company you want to ship with in StarShip.
