Migration Checklist

Before performing the StarShip migration process, check to make sure the following requirements have been met.

• The StarShip installation CD.
• Minimum system requirements for each component have been met and exceeded.
• UPS WorldShip is not installed on the machine designated for the StarShip Server.
• All shipper account numbers (UPS, FedEx, etc.) have been submitted to V-Technologies.
• The shipping label and report printers are fully configured and working with appropriate drivers installed.
• Microsoft SQL Management Studio is installed if using an existing SQL instance, and “Mixed Mode authentication” is enabled.
• If the SQL Server is already installed, the contact knows the "sa" user password or has a Windows account with "sysadmin" rights on the SQL Server.
• Pervasive  will need to be installed on both the Elliott machine and the StarShip Client machine. The user will need access to the Pervasive Control Center on the Elliott machine.
